Had tremendous size for the goaltending position. Covered his angles well and usually let the puck hit him. Was capable of playing the role of reliable backup at the NHL level. At times, he'd flop down on his knees too quickly. Lacked a little agility. Was too inconsistent to play regularly, and dropped the ball a few times when given that opportunity.
