Leopold noted that playing without it on Friday was quite a difference. "It's a mental challenge when you have a piece of equipment that doesn't make things as easy," Leopold said. "I have a finger that's fixed in a certain position. It's my top hand. Instead of having four fingers, I have three fingers on the stick." He has five assists in 21 games in 2013-14.
