A skilled offensive-minded pivot, he skates very well and sees everything that is happening on the ice. Therefore, his playmaking skills and hockey IQ are first-rate. He also displays a grittiness and work ethic that NHL coaches love, despite the fact he is somewhat undersized (especially for the center position at the highest level). Is similar to fellow Finn Saku Koivu in his overall approach to the game, though he needs to improve his two-way acumen in order to match Koivu's exploits in the NHL.
Long Range Potential: Talented, feisty but diminutive offensive center with upside.
