He is the type of player whose value at the National Hockey League level continues to get greater and greater: a smooth-skating, puck-moving right-shooting defenseman. He does not do much to get fans out of their seats but he does get the job done most of the time from the back end. He is also not afraid to jump up into the play and join the rush, though he is better at moving the puck with his passing skills than lugging it himself. Needs to get stronger physically in order to thrive at the highest level. His offensive production should improve with experience.
