He plays the game like an old-school playmaking center who constantly seeks out teammates with crisp passing skills. In his second season in the Ontario Hockey League, he was traded from Flint to Barrie--which was the catalyst to jump-start his prospect status for the NHL draft. Also owns a projectable frame. Tends to pass up shots in quality areas of the ice, which he must curb in order to maximize output at the highest level; he needs to commit to becoming a better shooter so as to keep NHL defenders honest. Also needs to fill out his frame and get stronger.
Long Range Potential: Solid, playmaking center with some upside.
