His path to the professional hockey ranks? The Quebec midget league to a U.S. prep school, then to various other select hockey programs in the States, to the USHL and finally a commitment to the University of Vermont. He has excellent size and he knows how to use it to his advantage in a checking capacity. Is a solid hitter as well as a good defender who can play the two-way game from the center position. Needs to excel against stiffer competition and prove capable of producing good totals even when he is not physically overpowering the opposition. Must also improve his skating ability in order to maximize his appearances at the highest level.
