Owns the physical traits NHL scouts love from the center position, including height, reach and a very projectable frame. Came through the United States National Team Development Program before enrolling at Boston University. While his physical package is impressive, he lacks the offensive instincts and hockey sense usually associated with a No. 1 center at the highest level. Therefore, he may have to settle for two-way (or shutdown) center duties in the professional ranks. He can also shoot the puck well, so a move to the wing is also possible. His size/speed combination should get him to the NHL, especially since he does not cut corners and works hard on the ice. | |
