A raw, long-range power forward, he burst onto the scene with a great CHL campaign (63 GP, 26-15-41, 50 PIM) as a 16-year-old winger for the Ontario Hockey League's Windsor Spitfires. Has the ability to drive the net and create havoc for opposing defensemen and goaltenders. Can be a major scoring weapon around the opposing crease area due to his combination of great size and a wicked shot. Lacks consistency in all facets of the game. Knows how to utilize his frame to his advantage. Is also willing to drop the gloves. Can play a responsible brand of hockey, too. Needs some work to put it all together.
Long Range Potential: Big, all-around power forward with upside.
