He followed in the footsteps of his father, Alfie Turcotte, as a first-round draft pick in the NHL (36 years apart). A skilled, smallish forward like his dad, he owns good hockey sense and vision. Skates very well and always keeps his feet moving, so he can make plays at high speeds. Owns a solid two-way game for a young player. His lack of optimum size can be an issue.
