For a defenseman with good size, he displays outstanding skating ability (he is smooth and makes it look effortless when on the ice). He can be used in all game situations, since he is very responsible with the puck. Displays outstanding hockey sense and passing ability. He sees the ice very well. While he is very heady, he could stand to improve his overall play without the puck. Could also use a little more upper-body strength.
