A prolific scorer at lower levels, he boasts excellent vision on the ice and the stickhandling skills to match. Can pass the puck with aplomb and is quite adept at jumping up into the play to create odd-man rushes. At times, he acts as a fourth forward on the ice (which can be both good and bad). Needs to learn how to pick his spots better when in attack mode. Lacks size and will need to get stronger in order to defend against bigger NHL forwards. Can score more goals than the average defenseman. Is somewhat of a long-range project.
Long Range Potential: Raw, talented but undersized offensive defenseman with good upside.
