The Swiss forward is the son of longtime Russian player Konstantin Kurashev, but he played his junior hockey in the QMJHL (making him an interesting contrast of playing styles). The younger Kurashev excels as a playmaker thanks to his soft hands and vision. He can play wing or center. Must get stronger as he moves toward the prime of his career and has to become more comfortable shooting the puck in order to keep defenses honest. | |
Long Range Potential: | Versatile playmaking forward. |
