Peterson signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Sharks on Friday.

Peterson was called up by the Sharks on Wednesday.

The Sharks acquired Peterson from the Stars on Friday in exchange for Scott Reedy.

Peterson was reassigned to AHL Texas on Wednesday.

Peterson (lower body) will return to the lineup Saturday against New Jersey, Matthew DeFranks of The Dallas Morning News reports.
