The smooth-skating defenseman comes from a hockey family, and it showed in his steadiness at a young age. He is a good puck mover, although not necessarily a major offensive threat. Defensively, he is trustworthy in all situations and willing to sacrifice his body to hit opponents and get in front of shots. Knows where to be at all times. He should become even more effective as he matures physically and enters his prime.
