The son of longtime NHL forward Robert Reichel was never drafted but has earned his shot by being solid in a number of areas, although not spectacular in any. His situational awareness, positioning skills and willingness to play defense mean he can contribute without putting up points. He is a good passer but nowhere near the shooter his dad was, and he needs to get stronger to make an impact at the top level.
