Almari signed a two-year contract with Lukko of the Finnish Liiga on Wednesday, Seth Rorabaugh of TribLive.com reports.

Almari has been recalled to AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton from his loan stint in Finland.

Almari sustained an undisclosed injury while playing for Finnish club Pelicans and is expected to miss 6-8 weeks, Taylor Haase of DK on Pittsburgh Sports reports.

Almari signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Penguins on Thursday.
