Had speed, which he used effectively when up against rival NHL pivots. Worked hard in all three zones and was a highly dependable player (especially in the defensive zone) thanks to great commitment. Could win important face-offs, and also played wing. Had a tendency to get hurt a lot, which limited his value to his team over time. Did not use his 6-2, 207-pound frame enough to his advantage. Was a streaky point producer but later became more of a role player (he went into a steep decline on offense). | |
Long Range Potential: | Savvy, speedy role player. |
