The Czech goalkeeper has explosive speed and excels at using his big body at sealing off the bottom of the net, although he will occasionally overplay the puck. He has a strong upper body and is adept with his stick. Has never been able to snag a starter's job in the NHL but is a reliable backup who can carry the load for a week or two, if needed.
