Scouting Report
Had great strength and a lethal shot. Could overpower defenders physically or use finesse. Possessed the soft hands of a natural goal-scorer, but also dropped the gloves when necessary. He was one of the great power forwards of all time in the NHL. Was known to start off slowly out of the gate during the regular season, and so his scoring streaks became increasingly problematic as he got older (and slower). Lost a step in terms of his skating stride with time. Was not as tough later on in his career.
Long Range Potential: Elite natural scorer, power forward and leader.
