Has tremendous size for a forward, which is what NHL scouts love. Owns good hands and sound passing ability, plus the ability to use his big frame to his advantage to win battles and provide grit. Can be a beast in the possession game. Can play both center and wing. Is a bit raw in terms of his all-around ability and will need to improve his offensive game without the puck to maximize production at the highest level. In fact, the jury is still out on his long-range upside as a scorer. Needs to play with greater game-to-game consistency.
