Had great size and leadership qualities. Moved well laterally and possessed a good shot from the point. Could log big minutes and be used in a shutdown role, when needed. Lacked hockey sense. Was not able to produce big offensive numbers in the National Hockey League. Also, he rarely maximized his size advantage in terms of aggressiveness.
