Has drawn comparisons to the likes of Rob Scuderi and Paul Martin for his ability to play a shutdown role and move the puck swiftly out of danger. Limits his mistakes. Was a big point producer in junior hockey. Is not much of an offensive threat at the National Hockey League level, so his future lies in his ability to become a quality defender. Does not have great size and does not play an overly physical game, either.
Long Range Potential: Solid defenseman with some upside.
