The Nashville Predators acquired forward Tyler Gaudet and defenseman John Ramage from the Arizona Coyotes for winger Pierre-Cedric Labrie and defenseman Trevor Murphy.
What does it give the Nashville Predators?
This appears to be a strict American Hockey League trade, though Gaudet has some NHL experience and might provide some depth for Nashville. Ramage will be a depth defenseman, as well.
What does it give the Arizona Coyotes?
Labrie is a physical presence with some NHL experience, but he is unlikely to make an NHL impact at any point during his time with the Coyotes organization. Murphy is more AHL fodder.
Fantasy Impact
Murphy is the only member of this quartet without any NHL experience but he might be the one with the most fantasy dark horse appeal. Although he is a long shot, at best. The other three are not really fantasy-worthy at this point.
