Gray is on track have a normal offseason after finishing the regular season on the 15-day injured list with right forearm flexor tendinitis, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

The Cardinals placed Gray on the 15-day injured list Saturday with right forearm flexor tendinitis.

Gray said he pitched through some "lingering" soreness during Wednesday's start against the Pirates, Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Gray did not factor into the decision in a win over the Pirates on Wednesday, allowing four runs on nine hits over 5.2 innings while striking out eight.

Gray (13-9) earned the win Thursday over the Reds, allowing one run on two hits and two walks over six innings. He struck out nine.

Gray (12-9) earned the win Thursday over the Padres, allowing one run on three hits over six innings. He struck out four.

Gray (11-6) picked up the win Tuesday, giving up two runs on four hits and a walk over seven innings in a 4-3 victory over the Rays. He struck out six.

Gray did not factor into the decision in Thursday's loss to the Cubs, allowing two runs on five hits and one walk over seven innings while striking out nine.

Gray allowed five runs on seven hits and three walks over five innings in a no-decision Friday. He struck out seven during the extra-innings loss against Washington.

Gray (10-6) picked up the win in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader split with Atlanta, giving up five runs on eight hits -- including four home runs -- over seven innings. He struck out 10 without walking a batter.
