A huge physical specimen (6-7, 250 pounds), he generates tremendous deception with his delivery and is a proven strike-thrower. His fastball/slider combination can dominate at the minor-league level. Also adds a changeup. While he possesses the three-pitch repertoire to become an above-average starting pitcher in MLB, he might have to settle for a high-leverage role out of the bullpen if he cannot become more consistent with all of his pitches.
