An excellent athlete, he has the speed and range to cover the ground in center field. Can also steal a lot of bases and create some havoc when on base. Can draw walks and also hit with a little bit of power at lower levels. Is an inconsistent hitter, so his appearances might be somewhat limited in Major League Baseball if he does not make the necessary adjustments at the dish. Is never going to be a big home-run hitter.
