Bido (wrist) is with the Athletics but has yet to begin playing catch since going on the IL on Sept. 10, MLB.com reports.
The Athletics placed Bido on the 15-day injured list Tuesday with right wrist flexor tendinitis.
Bido is scheduled to start Tuesday's game against the Astros, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Athletics manager Mark Kotsay said that Bido will be reinserted into the rotation during the upcoming week after working out of the bullpen in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Tigers, Jessica Kleinschmidt of the Oakland Athletics Radio Network reports.
Bido isn't in line to make a turn through the rotation during this weekend's series versus the Tigers, as Brady Basso and J.T. Ginn have been confirmed to start Saturday and Sunday, respectively, Jessica Kleinschmidt of the Oakland Athletics Radio Network reports.
Bido came away with a no-decision in Wednesday's 9-6 win over the Reds, allowing two runs on three hits over six innings. He struck out five without walking a batter.
Bido (2-2) took the loss against the Angels on Sunday, allowing seven earned runs on six hits, four walks and a hit batsman over 3.2 innings. He struck out six.
Bido is scheduled to start Sunday's game against the Angels in Anaheim.
Bido (2-1) got the win over the Astros on Tuesday, allowing one run on four hits while striking out six over five innings.
