Is a three-pitch pitcher (fastball, changeup and slider) with a solid frame and great pure stuff, overall. Also owns excellent pedigree as the son of former MLB pitcher Paul Quantrill. His feisty demeanor can be both a positive (he can get by on guile, without his best stuff sometimes) and a negative (he lets his frustrations get the best of him on some other occasions). Has had a lengthy injury history early in his developmental years, so he needs to improve both his stamina and his command.
