A smooth operator in the field, he is a consistent defender with good mobility and quickness. Is also a very good base runner with solid instincts. Can produce a lot of hits, thanks to his line-drive swing and doubles power. Struggles to hit left-handed pitching with consistency. Is somewhat error-prone in the field and his lack of optimum arm strength may force a switch away from the shortstop position in MLB. Lacks home-run power.
