Capable of both starting and relieving, he already boasts the ability to step up in big games. Owns a quality changeup and a very deceptive delivery, which works best coming out of the bullpen against left-hand batters. Does not have a very good fastball and has trouble reaching 90 m.p.h. Can be exposed if facing a lineup more than once in a game. Also, he does not have ideal size (6-1, 210 pounds) for a pitcher at the big-league level.
