Navarro is a useful addition to the Orioles because he can play both first base and left field, plus he is a left-handed bat who can come off the bench. He stands a very good chance of making the team out of spring training.

The Angels decided to designate Navarro for assignment recently, so they weren't going to receive a lot in return for his services. Therefore, they accepted some cash in the transaction and will move forward without him.

Navarro is not likely to receive enough playing time in Baltimore to be a fantasy-viable player. Nothing to see here, move it along.
