In Turley, the A's land a towering lefty who should be able to compete for a specialist role in Oakland's bullpen in 2021. He has limited MLB experience but may find his niche with Oakland this season.

After designating Turley for assignment, the Pirates were able to trade him in exchange for cash. In 25 appearances with Pittsburgh last season, the 31-year-old struggled with control and consistency.

Turley should not be drafted in virtually any league format, mainly because his role with the A's has yet to be determined (and he needs to make the team out of spring training first).
