In the Panamanian Agrazal (who turns 25 next month), the Tigers get a solid pitcher who should provide starting depth in 2020. He is not overpowering but he can provide innings out of the rotation, if needed.

The Pirates recently designated Agrazal for assignment (after he went 4-5 in 14 starts with the big club in '19). So, they were at least able to get back some cash from the Tigers in exchange for his services.

Agrazal is not the type of pitcher who can create a lot of fantasy excitement because he does not strike a ton of batters out. Therefore, he should be ignored in the vast majority of league formats in 2020.
