The Orioles are a team that has been taking chances on outfielders in recent years, especially the versatile kind. Brugman could be the next in line. He can play all three outfield positions, so Brugman stands a decent chance of breaking camp with the team next spring.

The Athletics decided to move on from the 25-year-old Brugman recently, as he was designated for assignment. Therefore, they were at least able to get back an asset (albeit a very small one). Oakland still has holes to fill in the outfield but felt Brugman was expendable.

He is more of a fourth outfielder/backup type, so do not expect a major breakthrough from Brugman in 2018. Pass.
