The Orioles hope Magnifico can figure out some of the control issues that have plagued him so far in his big-league career. If the 25-year-old right-hander can accomplish that, watch out. This is a good gamble for Baltimore.

The Brewers had recently designated Magnifico for assignment, so they decided to take back a potential international prospect in exchange for the inconsistent pitcher, whom they converted from starter to reliever in 2015.

Magnifico is a talented reliever with fantasy upside, so he should be on the radar for most fantasy leaguers in most formats. That said, he should not be picked up unless/until he shows improved control in MLB.
