Owns an ideal pitchers' frame and quality offerings. His best pitch is a quality slider that he uses as a true out-pitch. Appears to have found his niche pitching out of the bullpen. Can struggle with stamina at times (which was more of an issue as a starter), and he must keep his weight in check. Could stand to improve his change-up, which is still a work in progress.
