Armed with a good sinking fastball, he is at his best when inducing plenty of groundball outs. Also displays a perfect pitchers' frame (6'4", 230 pounds). Throws plenty of strikes. Does not throw particularly hard, so he has trouble getting batters to swing and miss regularly. Also, he is a bit too hittable for the big leagues. Injuries are also an issue here.
Long Range Potential: Decent right-hander (when healthy).
