Has the ideal catcher's frame (5'10", 235 pounds), switch-hitting ability and some plate patience, so he is valuable in the big leagues. Calls a pretty good game, too. Does not have a lot of home-run power to speak of, and he generally lacks consistency with the bat (especially in the bigs). Injuries can also be an issue for him.
Long Range Potential: Good defensive catcher.
