Scouting Report
A tremendous athlete and former high-school football quarterback, he had great speed and the range to play center field with aplomb. Also displayed plenty of home-run potential due to his size and power. Lacked the ability to hit for average, which hurt his ability to play every day in Major League Baseball. Got fooled too often while at the dish. Did not take advantage enough of his speed whenever he was on base.
Long Range Potential: Athletic, toolsy but inconsistent outfielder.
