Had a good, durable arm and the ability to work efficiently as a starter (including in the major leagues) or as a reliever. Knew how to pitch and was generally cool under pressure. Gave up a few too base runners in the big leagues and was not nearly talented enough to overcome it. Therefore, he needed to be a lot better at limiting his bases on balls at all times (which could be a struggle for him at the highest level).
Long Range Potential: Decent right-hander.
