Scouting Report
Has morphed into a power-hitting first baseman in the minor leagues, after starting his professional career behind the plate (he has made a smooth transition). As a catcher, he excels at throwing out base-runners attempting to steal, thanks to a very strong arm and pretty good footwork behind the plate. Lacks the consistency in hitting for average that is usually associated with an everyday first baseman in Major League Baseball. Also makes too many errors. Behind the plate, he lacks some consistency in terms of receiving and calling a game (which is mainly why he became a first baseman over time).
Long Range Potential: Versatile power hitter.
