Is unlike most catchers in that he is huge (6-3, 230 pounds), but nevertheless an accomplished defender behind the plate. Makes solid, line-drive contact at the dish. Lacks power, despite the size to hit plenty more home runs. Still needs more work on his throwing. Needs to become a bit better at situational hitting for MLB.
