Has great control. Is a quality strike-thrower who is usually around the plate. Knows how to work batters at lower levels, and is at his best when inducing plenty of groundballs. Is a bit too hittable overall, so big-league batters may be too much for him to handle regularly. Also, he lacks a dominant out-pitch, making him more vulnerable in the clutch.
