Blessed with an ideal pitchers' frame (6'4", 220 pounds), he has major strikeout ability and is capable of serving as a closer in the minor leagues (thanks to a great fastball and wicked slider). Lacks consistency, mostly because he has trouble repeating his delivery on a regular basis. Injuries have played a role early on in his development as a relief pitcher. Lacks a good changeup.
