Is armed with an excellent slider, plus a good sinking fastball and an ideal pitchers' frame (6-4, 220 pounds). Can also strike out plenty of batters in the minor leagues. Gets into trouble when he starts walking too many batters, as his control is not great. His sinker/slider repertoire needs to be enhanced with a stronger third pitch.
