Atlanta signed Marisnick to a minor-league contract Thursday that includes an invitation to spring training, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Marisnick didn't trigger his opt-out clause Friday and will remain in the Angels organization for the time being, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Marisnick signed a minor-league contract with the Angels on Dec. 13.

Marisnick (hamstring) is beginning a rehab assignment Tuesday with Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Marisnick (hamstring) was transferred Tuesday from the 10-day injured list to the 60-day injured list, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Friday that Marisnick (hamstring) is expected to be sidelined at least three weeks, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
