Had a power bat and excelled in driving in runs, especially when he went on a hot streak. His home-run prowess was solid. Profiled best as an old-school third sacker. Did not walk enough to off-set his propensity to strike out a bit too much, and he was generally way too streaky at the dish. Overall, he was not a good hitter for average.
