This behemoth had prodigious power, run-producing qualities and pretty good plate coverage. Could also hit for a solid average, if healthy. Had experience at both first base and left field but struggled on defense (whether at first base or in the outfield). Did not draw enough walks and struck out a bit too much. Injuries were a problem for him over the years.
