Owned an extremely versatile glove, and could even play shortstop due to his great arm. Also played all over the outfield because he could cover enough ground. Ran pretty well and could steal bases, too. Lacked the consistent bat required to be an everyday player in Major League Baseball. Also lacked home-run power. Was prone to making mental errors in the field (and also on the bases) on occasion.
Long Range Potential: Quality utility man.
