Scouting Report
Had an ideal pitcher's frame (6'4", 215 pounds) and the ability to strike batters out with regularity, mainly because of an above-average breaking pitch. Could be absolutely dominant on the hill, at all levels. Had occasional bouts of wildness, although he improved in this area greatly over time. Struggled at times when he left his pitches up in the zone too much. It took him a long time to put everything together in Major League Baseball, but when he did he was an elite starting pitcher.
Long Range Potential: Late-blooming, elite starting pitcher.
